Why Hobbies Can Save Your Life

Updated: Jan 17

See how happy he is?

Hobbies are not merely novel activities to be added to your monotonous lives, they are mandatory for your survival and I will show you exactly why.

Before the Industrial Revolution which polluted our rivers, made war more exciting and gruesome than ever before but also brought about many many great medical advances and communication technologies which have benefited the whole planet, people lived much slower and fulfilled lives.

Sure, they had bouts of depression, mental and spiritual struggles. Many lost limbs, lives and even loved ones to senseless tragedies and revenge etc. We all accept that fact. We also know that their lives were much simpler. They had more time to themselves. Maybe we have equal time to ourselves yet we spend most of it consuming ungodly amounts of entertainment. This leads to poor diet, thinking patterns, and health problems which I'm sure you are familiar with.

Those people of the past did one thing that brought them satisfaction which we are desperately seeking today.

They enjoyed making things with their hands.

If you don't have hands, or even arms don't give up...you can use your feet, or your mouth. I'm not kidding. One of the top tier fighting game competitors uses his mouth while he lays on his stomach and puts seasoned players into tears of rage. Its awesome!

My point is, these people were able to slow down, REALLY slow down, and spend time creating music, pottery, housing, and even computers before the big boom in personal computing.

We are born to create. We are "created in God's image" so to speak. We have that power given from birth. It is so often wasted in lives full of pure consumption of entertainment.

I'm not saying stop watching movies or playing games, etc. I enjoy those things in moderation as well.

What I am saying is if you are not happy, start creating SOMETHING.

Use ANY material to do ANYTHING. Just look around the house.

Start fixing things, start painting, start cooking even!

When you are doing this you will find what you like and don't like.

You will soon learn what hobbies you are interested in.

Exercise is Creating Too! You are Creating your Body and Programs!

You will start doing the very thing you were born to do.

You weren't born to work and slave for monopoly money and digital numbers at some private bank until you die.

You were born to create. So get started creating!

The longer you delay, the faster you will decay!

Use it or lose it, just like a muscle or thinking power.

When you start you will have no idea what you are doing.

The cool thing is, you will learn how to do it while you do it.

The best part is...it's FREE.

You don't need to pay anyone to do it.

Find things you can use around the house, USE THEM!

While exploring your new hobby you will struggle and you will solve problems.

You will start to feel more awake and alive each time you do it.

You will start to cause synapses in your brain to fire electricity in places that were dormant or hardly used.

You will start to feel GOOD!

Before you know it you will no longer be a beginner. You will become knowledgeable, powerful, and profitable.

In support of this cause I invite you to check out my beginner's course in Robotics and Electronics.

This is one of the most challenging, rewarding, and PROFITABLE hobbies you can ever pick up.

You will find joy, you will be challenged, but you WILL get it!

I have provided simple explanations for what I consider the most fundamental components.

Learn them in a fraction of the time through my site than you would on your own.

You will become POWERFUL. Have CONFIDENCE to fix things that others would throw away and spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars when only a small component needed to be replaced.

You will then think of your own designs and create them for just a few dollars!

Get excited, it's all happening here!
